Okay, so I haven't posted anything lately because we haven't really done too much! I go to the doctor every week now and on Thursday, I was 1cm dilated.... Doesn't mean too much as I could stay that way for weeks, but at least I am going in he right direction!
Also, this weekend we finished the nursery and installed the carseat! I also packed my bag for the hospital! So, once John gets his packed we are completely ready to go! I can't wait!
John Is saying she can come anytime after Friday because he has avery big experiment this week, and my mom said she can't come until next week because this is her last week at school... ?? I have no control over this!! Hehe! Of course as my daughter, she will make me wait until my due date just to be stubborn! Moi?
Hope all is well with you all! More baby news and a phone tree to follow this week! Oh how I love maternity leave!!

More Baby Shower Pictures!
Okay, so my dear friend who took pictures at my shower in May sent them over to me so here they are! This was from my second shower in Camarillo! It was a really fun shower. Once again, I was taken aback by the generosity of my friends and family as well as how CREATIVE everyone is! We are now counting down the days until BABY time! About a month left! Crazy!!

Opening Gifts!
My Aunt made this blanket for me. It is so sweet and since she has pretty bad carple tunnel, this is the last one she wanted to make. I just think it is a wonderful gift!
My friend's mom made this bag for me! It is amazing. Each patch has a different stitch! It is such a neat gift!

Live Feed Map
I found a pretty cool widget for the blog that shows you where your visitors of your blog live. I just installed it, so I am the only visitor to the blog (San Diego, CA). The map is on the left side under recent comments. Let's see if we can get some international traffic to the blog and how many states are represented. I know, pictures of Amanda would be more interesting. Think of this as the calm before the storm.

Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there and mothers to be. We went to church this morning and the preacher mentioned something very special and true all you mothers already know. The Lord has a special place in his heart for prayers from mothers for their children. So true and so amazing. Amanda had a great day, got a new toy and a special dinner from her hubby. I made a lemon butter caper white wine reduction over grilled halibut, angel hair pasta and asparagus. Not too bad for my first attempt. Made a mess in the ktichen, but Amanda did not have to clean a dish. Well worth the trouble for the baby maker. Miss Olivia or Joslin 1.0 is due in a short 5 weeks. Time to get some sleep people. Happy mothers day to all the moms out there!!!
