Costco trip

We broke my "no Costco on Saturday" rule because we decided to have a little BBQ for John's birthday this afternoon. So we had to go to Costco. Olivia slept through the whole trip. When we were checking out we realized how our lives have changed.

Thanks Aunt Becca!!!

Olivia's Aunt Becca is sooo creative and has a business making personalized gifts! She does the cutest bows to match any outfit. All princesses need matching bows (even for their pajamas as Olivia is modeling)! Becca was so generous and sent us a bunch of bows! Olivia had to model them this morning for her dad! We love them!!! Olivia is just too cute!

Miss Olivia: life is good

Olivia is TWO months old!

Our little girl is now two months old! I just can't believe it. She is growing SOOOO fast! We have been really busy the last few weeks. We had visits from Olivia's Nonna and Grandy from Texas and Mimi and Poppi from Indiana! It was great having them here. Olivia's Grammy has made a few visits and tries to see her every couple of weeks. It is fun having so many people to love her!!

Olivia is getting so big! We go to her two month checkup today, but we believe she weighs around 10lbs! As for height... well, we don't think she has grown too much but possibly an inch or two! She smiles and giggles a lot! 

She is sooooo close to rolling over, but really hasn't found any need to do that yet! She loves playing in her Safari gym and loves "talking" with the toys in it!

She has a ton of cute clothes and I am just loving dressing her (and shopping for her!) We go for walks and meet friends. I am enjoying being home with her, but excited to get back to work in a few weeks!

Her newest thing in the last couple of days is that she is trying really hard to suck her thumb. I was able to get a picture of it! I may be biased, but I think she is the CUTEST!!

Miss Olivia Update

Miss Olivia is growing up way too fast.  Here are a few updates from the past few weeks.  She is getting much better at holding her head up.  She loves lights and turns her head toward them.  She notices people's voices and will also turn to me and smile when I get home from work.  The smiles are readily available and melt away all the stress from the day. She is also sleeping for longer periods of time.  We still have our little chats, and I can tell she has her opinion.  Watch out for the day she learns to voice them.  I have been doing the early morning feedings and really enjoy them.  She wakes up happy and hungry.  Once finished eating, she curls up on daddy's chest and falls back asleep until mom and James come downstairs.  Miss Olivia is a great traveler.  We have already made several outings to the track, the beach, restaurants, and of course shopping...this is Amanda's baby after all.  She is finally fitting into her clothes and looking quite cute if I do say so myself.  As for her parents: we are getting sleep when we can and continue to thank God for the most incredible blessing he could have given us: Miss Olivia Grace.

We are heading to the beach today with the whole family! Olivia thought it was a great time to put on one of her many swimsuits!! I think she looks sooooo cute in it! I am just excited to get out and get some sun!! Happy Sunday!
